PBS NewsHour Features Per Reinhall and MCT

pbsMCT Co-Founder Per Reinhall, PhD, was featured on PBS NewsHour September 14, 2016. Dr. Reinhall explained the technology behind MCT’s noise mitigation solution.   The story also featured WSDOT’s leadership in identifying novel solutions that reduce noise from pile driving.


Awareness of the hazards of ocean noise continues to increase. Today, PBS NewsHour aired a story on the issue, highlighting the leadership WSDOT has shown in nurturing emerging solutions. The story also focused on one solution in particular, the Reinhall Pile, which is ready for deployment in commercial projects.
